Teachers share their faith, their experiences and their love for God and God's love for all these young people. Commitment: Teachers and aides are needed for weekly one-hour classes, plus preparation and training. Small classes and dedicated teachers enhance the faith experience of the children. Contact: (617) 479-0125 Confirmation: Confirmation is a two-year program in which young people come to accept for themselves the faith that was given to them in Baptism. It is particularly aimed for high school freshmen and sophomores, but any high school student is welcome. The process calls for personal reflection and commitment on the part of individual candidates. who prepare for the sacrament by participating at Mass, listening to guest speakers, performing community service and attending retreats.
